Food Fiend Experience is located on the scenic Hayling Island, situated between Portsmouth & Chichester on the Hampshire/ West Sussex border.
Queensway is a residential road and we have been asked to encourage clients to be considerate of the people who reside in the street and may need to move their cars while there is a function taking place.
If you could park on the right hand side of Queensway (as you drive south) this will make it easier for cars and delivery cars to have access.
A good place to park is on the right hand side of Avenue Road before you enter Queensway, you will note a tall green hedge which surrounds a playing field.
‘The Rowans’ is only one minute on foot.
If you have any difficulties finding Food Fiend Experience, please contact Kathy on 02393 11 00 30 or 0783 423 9964
Hayling’s combination of rural and marine environments provides a unique natural history and a bio-diversity with walking distances of anywhere on the Island. Throughout the year, Hayling’s wildlife can be enjoyed thanks to the mild maritime climate which allows many different species of wild flowers to flourish, some unique to coastal landscapes.
Hayling Island also has over 3 miles of beaches right on the doorstep of the Solent as well as the Harbours of Langstone and Chichester. With its safe open spaces, fresh air and sheltered waters, Hayling Island has much to offer those that enjoy sports of all kinds, whether on land or at sea. These include windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing and golf.
The Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth is home to HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, The Mary Rose and a host of other naval attractions.
Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower offers incredible views across the Solent and surrounding area, including across to Hayling Island. See the Spinnaker Tower website.
Hayling is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the rolling hills of the South Downs are amongst the best of it. Take in the outdoor activities at Queen Elizabeth Country Park or use it as a starting point to join the Southdowns Way.
The Solent area is steeped in history, and has some spectacular historic sites that offer a day out for all the family – all within easy reach of Hayling Island. Our local favourite historic spots include Portchester Castle, Chichester Cathedral, Arundel, Southsea Castle and Fishbourne Roman Palace.
The RN Submarine Museum, The Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum, Havant Museum, D Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, and Portsmouth City Museum.
